What should I bring with me?

We provide kayaks, paddles, and Coast Guard–approved life jackets — but you’ll want to bring water, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a towel. Light, breathable clothing and reef-safe sun protection are ideal.

Do I need previous kayaking experience?

Nope! Most of our guests are first-timers, and our guides will show you the basics before launch. Kayaking in calm Florida waters is easy to learn and fun for all ages.

What if the weather isn’t great?

We keep an eye on conditions — if tides, lightning, or unsafe weather are forecasted, we’ll reschedule or refund your trip. Safety first.

Can I see wildlife on the tour?

Yes! Our tours often encounter birds, fish, and sometimes manatees — though wildlife sightings aren’t guaranteed. We follow all respectful wildlife viewing practices.

Is there an age limit?

We recommend a minimum age (often around 8+) for kayaks, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Contact us with your group details, and we’ll help you choose the right experience.

How long are the tours?

Most guided tours run roughly 2 hours, but we offer variations! Rentals allow longer self-guided exploration if you want more paddling time.

Do you offer private or group tours?

Absolutely — we can arrange private experiences or accommodate larger groups. Just reach out and we’ll walk you through the options.

Can I cancel or change my reservation?

Yes — just give us advance notice and we’ll work with you on rescheduling or canceling according to our policy.

What if I’ve never kayaked before?

Totally fine! Our guides are patient and friendly — we’ll help you feel confident before you even hit the water.

Is tipping expected?

Tipping is appreciated when guides go above and beyond, but it’s entirely up to you.

Do you rent gear for solo adventure (no guide)?

Yes! We offer self-guided rentals for paddlers who want to explore at their own pace.
